Note to those following this forum - THE SCRIBE is the Kindle Daily Deal today (26-Jan-2014) in SciFi & Fantasy for only $1.99. Elizabeth posted on Facebook, "this book has never been on sale, so if you've been waiting to buy or want to give as a gift, today is the day to do it."

The Scribe Empty Re: The Scribe

Hi everyone. Just starting to read The Scribe. I tend to wait until closer to publication of the second book in a series to read the first. I am excited to get to know Ava and Malachi. I haven't had an aha moment yet but things are starting to build. It sounds like Damien can be a little controlling, but then again, I have just started reading.

Edited: I've been reading more today and just WOW. I guess a so-so bottle of wine in a cafe full of Grigori can really get a girl fired up?

I really love this book. I was surprised by the ending, which is just more proof that Elizabeth's mind works in wondrous ways. Anxiously awaiting The Singer and the results of Elizabeth and SB's visit to China as well. I really hope she runs into Tenzin whilst there.

Ok, so I finally finished The Scribe. Great Read! I am looking forward to The Singer. I have to say though, there at the end when Damien and Rhys were so "brotherly" friendly to Ava. I kinda got a strange vibe.. not that I think there was anything to it… but it flashed momentarily through my mind that the "brotherly" love was more than what it was. Maybe it was just me.
